Shaping up for Christmas

After a week of turkey some might not even want to think about food. But Christmas is coming closer and we all know that Christmas means eating. While some may turn to fast fat burners I recommend starting to think about it now instead so you can enjoy a guilt free Christmas.

First of all I think it's important to let go of the guilt. That won't bring you anything good at all. Christmas, just like any holiday, is a time to spend with your family and to be happy. So go ahead and enjoy the company and especially all the good food.

If you still want to make sure you don't over indulge during the white season then eat a little of everything or stick to a few things only.There is no need to stuff yourself with everything. You'll only get sick if you do.

I'm not too worried about this issue but I know many are worrying already or will shortly. Another tip is to walk more, something that can be very nice with the right company. Why not suggest that the whole family go for a short walk together after lunch?

Instead of worrying about how much you eat at Christmas: enjoy yourself and plan for a healthy 2009. It will be so much easier then.
